The Central California Center for Nursing Excellence (CCCEN) is now located at 1625 E. Shaw Ave. Suite 146. (Shaw and Cedar near McDonald’s) Fall Conference The Mu Nu chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International is once again collaborating with the Nursing Leadership Coalition to educate Central Valley nurses. This year's topic for the fall conference is Leadership and Managing Transformational Change with Electronic Medical Records--How to effectively manage this transition. The conference will be held at St. Agnes Medical Center on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m . Plan to be there to learn to learn how this change will impact you!! Winners! 
We should all be very proud. I am so very happy to say that Sigma Theta Tau Mu Nu nominee, Conrad Rios, won RN of the Year 2011 in the category of Advance Practice. I am also thrilled to say that St. Agnes nominee and our current chapter treasurer, Nancy Hollingsworth, won for Administration/Leadership. Sigma Theta Tau International Mu Nu chapter board members won two of the four awards given at the Central San Joaquin Valley Nursing Leadership Coalition awards dinner. Congratulations Conrad and Nancy!! What a wonderful testament to your hard work and dedication. |
